News » Judge enters not guilty plea in fatal crash
Apr. 16, 2012 A judge entered a not guilty plea for the driver in a deadly high-speed crash.
25-year-old Samuel Lueders of Neenah is accused of driving about 120 miles an hour on Highway 10 in the town of Menasha last August, before a Menasha man died in an accident.
Court records say 22-year-old Johannes Hoffman was thrown from the car, after Lueders went into a ditch, and hit a wooden sound barrier.
Lueders stood mute in Winnebago County court this morning to a charge of homicide by negligent driving.
Records say a state trooper clocked Lueders at more than 90 miles an hour, and the trooper came upon the accident during a high-speed chase. They say Lueders had a blood-alcohol level of 0.03, and that's under the legal limit. |
