Apr. 16, 2012 The state Supreme Court won't immediately take up the appeals of two rulings that are blocking the photo ID rule for voters.
That means the requirement likely won't be in effect for the upcoming recall elections.
Two appeals courts asked the high court to take up the voter ID cases right away, but now they'll have to consider them separately.
Two Dane County judges blocked the provision that forces people to show a certain photo ID before they can cast a ballot. |
