It's safe to have campfires and burn brush again, in Outagamie County.
Emergency management director Christina Muller is lifting the "no burn advisory" that she put in place earlier this month. She says at the time, the fire danger was extreme, because of dry plants and dry, windy weather. Muller says the main threat has passed.
Muller says before people burn their brush, they should check to see if they need a permit, and let their fire department know what they are doing. |
