News » Vinehout has economic plan
Apr. 18, 2012 One of the Democrats in the recall race for governor is rolling out an economic development plan.
Sen. Kathleen Vinehout of Alma says her philosophy differs from Governor Walker and the GOP's approach. She says the public sector helps the private sector grow and thrive.
Vinehout's plan also includes the expansion of broadband access, increased transit opportunities, more education funding, and a tax system that doesn't favor certain businesses over others.
She faces Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk, and Secretary of State Doug La Follette in the May 8 Democratic primary. |
