A Democratic candidate for governor focused on education  during a visit to Appleton yesterday.
Former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk met with local members of the state's largest teachers union, WEAC, at the Grand Meridian. She says education is a big priority.
Falk and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett are the front-runners in the May 8 Democratic primary. Sen. Kathleen Vinehout and Secretary of State Doug La Follette are also in the race.
The party's nominee will face Governor Walker on June 5. |
