It's been one month since the mysterious booms started in Clintonville.
City Administrator Lisa Kuss says for the most part, things have calmed down, but her employees reported an incident last Thursday morning. She says they could feel shaking at city hall, and they received seven other calls from the public.
Kuss says most people now believe the experts who determined the booms were small earthquakes, although there are still a few skeptics.
She says the booms might have been frightening at first, but there has been a silver lining -- more people know about the city of Clintonville. Kuss says they're going to use the proceeds from an earthquake t-shirt sale to start a farmers market in the city. |
