News » Crews quickly put out fire in downtown Menasha
Apr. 18, 2012 Neenah-Menasha firefighters were able to limit the damage, after a small fire broke out in downtown Menasha late this morning.
Asst. Chief Mike Sipin says they were called to Gunderson Cleaners on Main Street, a little before 11 a.m. He says the first crews on the scene saw smoke and flames coming from a window near the back of the building, along Center Street.
Sipin says an air compressor started on fire in a maintenance shop. He says crews were working to clear smoke from throughout the building.
No one was hurt. No damage estimate is available. |
