A car repair class at Fox Valley Technical College is giving one student more independence.
Students refurbished a donated, totaled car for first-year marketing student Michael Miller.
Miller uses a wheelchair, because of a birth defect, and now he'll be able to get around. He says the car has special controls next to the steering wheel that run the gas pedal, and the brakes.
Miller helps organize monthly events for other young people with disabilities, and he says he'll use the car for them.
The students presented Miller with the car yesterday afternoon. |
