News » Hawk webcam spreading worldwide
Apr. 27, 2012 A webcam at UW-Madison is generating attention around the world.
Five red-tailed hawks are living in a nest, on the geological sciences building, and school officials thought people in the area would like to watch the two parents raise their three chicks.
But bird enthusiasts across the U.S., and in Europe and Asia, are also tuning in, after some of them started sharing the link.
One or both parents are usually at the nest, and people can sometimes watch them feed the chicks rabbits, squirrels, or mice.
