News » Watchdog worried about continuous recalls
Apr. 27, 2012 The head of a government watchdog group thinks the constitutional rules for recalls in Wisconsin could be in for some scrutiny.
The process had been used sparingly until the past year, and Jay Heck of Common Cause says there's a danger of it becoming the "norm" in state politics.
Heck predicts that if Democrats are successful in kicking Governor Walker out of office in the June 5 recall, Republicans will not hesitate to use the same tactic against his replacement. |
