Appleton isn't known for hosting movie premieres, but people at Appleton West high school last night got an early preview of a film that was partially shot here.
Robert Cicchini says Waterwalk is the story about a man and his son, while they tried to follow the route that French explorers took to find a water route from the Great Lakes to the Mississippi River.
Cicchini says many segments of the movie were filmed in Appleton, including one of the main scenes. He says the film is based on a true story.
Waterwalk will be in theaters next month. |
