News » Harrison, Kaukauna agreement not close
May 2, 2012 A boundary agreement between the city of Kaukauna and the town of Harrison may not come quickly.
Harrison administrator Travis Parish says they started working on the issue following an annexation dispute in 2010, and both sides haven't been able to reach a compromise.
Parish says the town would let the city annex some of its land, but Harrison officials want some teeth in any agreement, to make sure it doesn't get out of hand. He says that's the major sticking point right now.
Parish says Kaukauna officials want an agreement that's less binding. He says it could take awhile to reach a deal. |
