News » GAB predicts up to 35% primary turnout
May 3, 2012 The Government Accountability Board predicts 30 to 35 percent of the state's registered voters will make their way to the polls in next Tuesday's recall primary election.
The primary features a four-way Democratic race, and the winner will take on Governor Walker in the June 5 general election. The candidates are former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, Secretary of State Doug La Follette, and Sen. Kathleen Vinehout.
Walker also faces token opposition in the Republican primary. |
