May 3, 2012 Last month was the fourth-safest April on Wisconsin roads since World War II.
The DOT says 41 people died in 35 crashes. The state record for fewest April fatalities is 34, in 1998.
As of the end of last month, 152 people have died in Wisconsin traffic crashes this year, including 13 motorcycle riders and nine pedestrians. The overall total is 24 more than through the first four months of 2011. |
