A local high school team is competing on the national stage this week.
For the second year in a row, Xavier high school's mock trial team qualified for the national competition in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Coach Kelli McGreevey says she hopes the team can build on last year's seventh place finish.
She says the team worked very hard this year, and learned some strategies from last year's championship.
Teams from around the country will scrimmage today, and the competitions will start tomorrow and finish on Saturday.
McGreevey says there are no seniors on this year's team, so they could be set up well for the future. |
