News » Telulah Park likely home of future skate park
May 4, 2012 Appleton officials are moving ahead with plans to build a new skate park in Telulah Park.
Dean Gazza is the city's facilities and parks director. He says there used to be a skate park there, but it was removed as part of the RiverHeath project. Gazza says Telulah Park seems to be the most logical place to build another one.
The skate park would be about 25,000 square feet, and could cost around $150,000. Gazza says the city will likely chip in $100,000 and the rest would come from private donations.
He says work on the skate park could start as soon as next year. |
