Rebuilding Together Fox Valley is holding its annual project day tomorrow, and just over 1,000 volunteers will be working on home improvement projects at 28 homes.
Executive Director Kate Dugan says many of the homes have different needs, from new siding, to landscaping.
Dugan says some of the homes are getting a more significant makeover. One will get a new kitchen, and three others will get new, handicapped accessible bathrooms.
She says when the organization started 12 years ago, the only work they did was on project day, but they do about 75 projects throughout the year.
Rebuilding Together Fox Valley helps low-income people, the elderly, and people with disabilities fix their homes. |
