An Appleton woman accused of murdering her long-time boyfriend entered a not guilty plea today, in Outagamie County court.
34-year-old Mastella Jackson faces a charge of first-degree intentional homicide for the stabbing death of 41-year-old Derrick Whitlow.
Court records say Jackson admitted to killing Whitlow, after going to his room at the Road Star Inn, in Grand Chute, to talk to him.
Investigators found bloody clothes and a knife in a garbage can during a search at Jackson's home on W. Fourth Street.
A four-day trial is scheduled for early October. |
