A proposal to merge the Winnebago County and Oshkosh public health departments will become a reality on Monday.
County public health director Doug Gieryn says the city of Neenah will join them in July.
Gieryn says they should save about $350,000 a year by consolidating the departments. He says by combining the staff, they'll bring together people with different backgrounds and expertise. |
