The youngest champion of the most famous sled dog race is telling his story in the Fox Cities.
25-year-old Dallas Seavey won the Iditarod in Alaska in March, and he's sponsored by Jim and Rosanne Keller, through J.J. Keller.
He says he'll start seriously preparing to defend his title, in September. He says he'll begin the training regiment for his dogs, and eventually pick a final team. Seavey says he owns nearly 90 dogs.
Seavey brought his racing sled from the Iditarod with him.
J.J. Keller started sponsoring Seavey's team several years ago. |
