News » Walker facing token primary challenger
May 4, 2012 Governor Walker probably doesn't have much to worry about in next Tuesday's primary for the recall election, but he is facing a challenger.
Arthur Kohl-Riggs isn't supported by the Democratic Party, but he was very active in last year's protests over the collective bargaining law. He's running in the GOP primary.
UW-Green Bay political science chair Michael Kraft says it isn't unusual for little-known candidates to run in a primary election.
Kraft says most people have know idea who Kohl-Riggs is, and he has little chance of garnering much of the vote. |
