News » Falk hopes to prove poll wrong
May 4, 2012 It's down to the final days before next Tuesday's Democratic primary for governor, and one of the recall candidates believes she can overcome the results of a recent poll.
The Marquette law school put former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk 17 points behind the other Democratic front-runner, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.
Falk was in Green Bay yesterday, and she says her support from unions and a number of other groups will be a big boost. She says they're working hard to get people to come out to vote.
Falk says the political establishment and pundits predicted there wouldn't even be a recall, and they proved them wrong.
Secretary of State Doug La Follette and Sen. Kathleen Vinehout are also running as Democrats. |
