News » Tech college grads making more money
May 7, 2012 Nearly 90 percent of last year's technical college graduates were able to find a job.
That's according to an annual report from the Wisconsin Technical College System. It shows 88 percent were working six months after graduation, and 71 percent got a job in their field of study.
System President Dan Clancy says their partnerships with industry representatives make a big difference.
The number of working graduates is about the same as last year, but graduates saw a slight increase in salaries. They're making an average of $31,800. That's up about $600 from 2010. |
