Green Bay police say the victim in a weekend stabbing  was killed after celebrating his birthday, and a family member's first communion.
46-year-old Lois Pilar Velaszquez was arrested early Sunday morning for the murder of 35-year-old Derrick House.
Police say House was Velaszquez's live-in boyfriend, and there had been allegations of cheating.
They say House went to bed, at the couple's apartment on S. Quincy Street, while Velaszquez was talking with a friend about their relationships. They say House came out of the bedroom, and the couple was arguing, when Velaszquez started throwing beer cans and knives at him.
Investigators say she grabbed a knife off of the floor, and stabbed House in the upper chest. |
