The city of Menasha had to quickly another polling place for some voters  in tomorrow's recall primary and the June 5 general election.
Clerk Debbie Galeazzi says they obviously couldn't plan in advance for the recalls, and Heckrodt Wetland Reserve already had events scheduled for those dates.
She says they were able to find a temporary replacement for voters in District 8, covering the parts of the city that are in Calumet County. They're now supposed to vote at the new fire station, at the corner of Manitowoc Road and Province Terrace.
Galeazzi says they'll return to their regular polling place, at Heckrodt Wetland Reserve, for the fall elections. |
