News » New Kimberly administrator settling in
May 8, 2012 Kimberly's new village administrator says he's trying to find new uses for the former New Page mill, while it's slowly being demolished.
Adam Hammatt started his new job nearly two weeks ago, after long-time administrator Rick Hermes retired.
Hammatt says that property is the biggest issue facing the village right now. He says the village could consider a housing or retail project there, because it's becoming less likely that it will remain a mill.
Hammatt says besides dealing with the mill site, he's been trying to get to know other local officials, people in the community, and local business owners. |
