Three Fox Valley Metro police officers are riding their bikes to honor fallen officers.
The 300-mile "Police Unity Tour" starts today, and Officer Brady Busher says they'll go from New Jersey to Washington D.C. He says he and the other officers put in plenty of training time.
Officer Ed Flinde and Capt. Scott Lund are also riding. They're going to make it to the nation's capital on Sunday.
Before they left, they had to raise money for the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington D.C., and a fund for the families of officers killed in the line of duty.
The tour coincides with National Law Enforcement Week. |
