The June 5 recall election will be a rematch of the last race for governor.
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett defeated former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk and two other Democratic challengers in yesterday's primary.
Governor Walker easily defeated a token candidate to win the Republican primary.
Barrett says instead of focusing on jobs, the governor looked for ways to divide the state. He says that's not the way he would lead.
Falk called on her supporters to unite, and help Tom Barrett in the coming weeks.
In the race for Lieutenant Governor, Democrat Mahlon Mitchell won the primary, and he'll face Republican Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch. |
