News » Neenah re-evaluating teacher retirement plan
May 9, 2012 Neenah administrators are going to take a second look at the proposed changes to the school district's retirement benefits.
Their initial plan drew about 150 people to a school board meeting last month.
Board president Scott Thompson says they're going to take some time to talk with teachers, and compare the district's benefits to what others are offering. He says they could vote on a plan this fall.
Under the current benefit plan, teachers receive stipends and health insurance payments. Thompson says that's on top of what they get from their state pension. |
