The Republican co-chairs of the Legislature's budget committee want to know how Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett would have balanced the budget.
Rep. Robin Vos and Sen. Alberta Darling sent Barrett a letter this morning, asking him to explain his financial plan for the state.
Barrett spokesman Phil Walzak says the move is a desperate attempt to deflect attention from Governor Walker's decisions to make deep cuts to education, and give tax breaks to corporations. |
