Authorities arrested the suspected Sherwood bank robber at a Milwaukee hotel.
45-year-old Jeffrey Lowery was on the run since last Friday, when investigators say he told a teller at the Calumet County Bank that he had a gun, and planted bombs at a nearby school.
The Calumet County sheriff's department says the U.S. Marshall's Service and Milwaukee police worked with the Milwaukee County sheriff's department to take Lowery into custody without incident yesterday afternoon.
The suspected get-away driver, 50-year-old Ricky Rutkowski of New Holstein, is already behind bars. |
