News » Judge orders no parole in drug-related murder
May 10, 2012 A 22-year-old man will spend the rest of his life in prison for a drug-related murder in Oshkosh.
A jury convicted Donald Martin of first-degree intentional homicide for the death of 22-year-old Emily Wayman. Winnebago County Judge Scott Woldt decided this morning that Martin will serve a life prison sentence, without the possibility of parole.
Court records say Martin wanted to rob Wayman of Oxycontin, and he attacked her, in her apartment, in April of 2010.
Prosecutors say he hit her in the head with a hammer numerous times and cut her neck. They say he also poured bleach over her body, to try to conceal his guilt.
20-year-old Samantha Rew is serving a 15-year sentence for her role in the murder. |
