News » Barrett, Walker argue usefulness of tax credits
May 14, 2012 Governor Walker is defending tax credits that his administration gave businesses, in hopes that they'll create more jobs.
His opponent in next month's recall election, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, says there's no accountability if businesses that receive credits fail to create jobs.
Governor Walker says there are standards in place that they have to meet.
Walker argues Barrett's position would make it harder for small businesses and manufacturers to grow.
