Three people died in ATV crashes in Wisconsin since the beginning of April, including one person in Calumet County.
DNR ATV safety administrator Gary Eddy says that should serve as a reminder for people to keep safety in mind when they are out on the trails.
He says 16 people died last year from ATV crashes.
Eddy says most of the fatal crashes happen on private land, because people let down their guard, don't wear helmets, and try to do tricks on their ATV. |
