News » Drivers urged to avoid I-43 Leo Frigo bridge
May 16, 2012 The DOT is starting a resurfacing project on the I-43 Leo Frigo bridge in Green Bay next week, and officials are asking drivers to find another way to get around that area.
DOT spokesman Kris Schuller says about 40,000 cars travel on that road each day, and it will be down to one lane in each direction for most of the summer driving season. That could lead to 15 minute delays.
Schuller says the resurfacing project will impact about 3.5 miles of the road, and it will likely run into November this year.
He says it won't be finished until July of next year. |
