The Memorial Day weekend is coming up in just over a week, and AAA projects a slight increase in travel.
Roy Hinz with AAA Wisconsin says it's all about gas prices are leading more people to want to hit the road.
The dip in gas prices didn't come soon enough to benefit air travel, which is projected to drop over the Memorial Day holiday.
Nearly 680,000 people are expected to travel in Wisconsin for the Memorial Day holiday, an increase of just 0.3 percent percent compared to last year. |
