May 17, 2012 Workers at the Appleton paper company are taking a wait and see approach to yesterday's merger announcement.
Company officials say Appleton is merging with Hicks Acquisition Company as part of a $675 million deal.
Rick Barh is the president of United Steelworkers Local 469, which represents many of the mill's workers. He says there deal could be a good thing, but right now, he's not sure.
Company officials say the merger could lead to future growth. |
