The state will have a new Alice in Dairyland sometime tomorrow, and two women from northeast Wisconsin are in the running for the title.
Rachel Erickson of Oshkosh and UW-Green Bay student Amy Manske are two of the six finalists in the annual competition.
Current "Alice" Katie Wirkus says the contestants go through a three days of interviews, a question-and-answer session, and tours.
The competition to become the state's dairy ambassador is in southwest Wisconsin this year, in Grant County.
Erickson graduated from UW-River Falls last December. Manske grew up on her family's dairy farm in New London. |
