News » Former CEO calls for manufacturing push
May 18, 2012 The former leader of a major Milwaukee company says high schools need to get students ready for manufacturing jobs.
Tim Sullivan was the CEO of Bucyrus, and he says there are going to be more than a half-million of those positions available over the next six to seven years. He says there's already a shortage of applicants, and they all need two-year degrees.
Sullivan visited Fox Valley Technical College yesterday afternoon. He's on the governor's task force on education. |
