A house fire in Neenah claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman.
Police say a home in the 600 block of Jackson Street was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters got there around 12:15 a.m. They say people were trapped on the second-floor of the single-family home, and they got to the roof of a three-season porch.
The woman wasn't breathing, and she was pronounced dead.
A second person was treated and released from a local hospital.
Investigators are trying to figure out the cause. |
