May 21, 2012 The state tourism department is kicking off its summer ad campaign today.
Deputy Secretary Dave Fantle says they're primarily focusing on radio, TV, and print publications. He says they'll also do some promotions on Facebook and Twitter.
He says the prime targets are people living in Chicago and the Twin Cities.
Last year, visitor spending reached nearly $10 billion, and that generated about $16 billion in total business sales. |
