An 84-year-old Omro man was killed in an accident last night in Winnebago County.
The sheriff's department says Richard Bielinski was a passenger in an SUV, and he was hit by a 32-year-old Oshkosh man, just after 8 p.m.
Authorities say Jeremy Derks ran a stop sign at Highway 21 and Reighmoor Road. They say Derks was arrested on a charge of homicide by driving drunk. He suffered non life-threatening injuries.
A 61-year-old Appleton man was driving the SUV, and he suffered non-life threatening injuries. |
