St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton is the first hospital in the nation to meet a global company's strict environmental standards.
Gary Kusnierz of Affinity Health says they received ISO 14001 certification from SAI Global. He says it's a reflection of their work to reduce waste.
Kusnierz says Affinity Health really started focusing on sustainability about a decade ago. He says they're a national leader for building LEED-certified facilities. |
