The Appleton Yacht Club showed off its renovated facilities yesterday.
The private organization just finished a nearly $500,000 project to expand its clubhouse along the Fox River.
Commodore Tim Potter says they added a lighthouse, in hopes that it will become a landmark for boaters.
Potter says they moved the bathrooms to the front of the building, and added more windows in the bar area, to open up a better view of the riverfront.
The club leases the land from the city of Appleton, and there are about 300 members.
