A portion of Lake Park Road is closing today, so a developer can move forward with a plan to build a two-story apartment building.
Appleton deputy public works director Ross Buetow says a contractor needs to close the road to hook up sewer and water lines, and those lines are buried beneath the road.
He says they're shutting down the stretch between Plank and Midway roads.
Buetow says the road should reopen by Friday afternoon.
Local traffic will still be able to use the road, but a detour is posted for other traffic. |
