News » Former Pres. Clinton campaigning for Barrett
June 1, 2012 Former President Bill Clinton jumped into the fray today, in the recall race for governor.
He was at a rally in Milwaukee this morning, to campaign for Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.
Clinton says Governor Walker wants to divide and conquer, instead of working together with other leaders. He says he normally opposes recalls, but sometimes they're necessary to avoid a disastrous course.
Clinton says if Governor Walker wins, it could send a message to the rest of the country that the politics of divide and conquer can work in other states. |
