Emergency room doctors used a lot of blood to help some of the people hurt in yesterday's motorcycle crash, and now the Community Blood Center is asking for help replenishing the supply.
Spokeswoman Angela Brumm says they're particularly low on type O negative blood right now, but they always need more donations during this time of year.
Local hospitals depend on the center for the blood they use for transfusions. |
