News » SACC hopes 'DWTS' will help raise money
June 1, 2012 The popularity of "Dancing with the Stars" and new champion Donald Driver could provide a boost for a group that helps victims of sexual assault in the Fox Cities.
The Sexual Assault Crisis Center holds its annual "Shall We Dance" benefit tonight, featuring a competition between community dancers.
Director Caroline Lasecki says the event has grown, and they hope Driver's success will help continue that trend.
Lasecki says two professional dancers from the TV show will be at tonight's benefit, judging the competition and performing.
The event at the Radisson Paper Valley hotel is sold out. |
