News » Gov. Walker campaigning in Greenville
June 1, 2012 Governor Walker made another campaign stop in the Appleton area today.
He visited Miller Electric in Greenville, and he pointed to optimism among companies in the state. He says they're looking to hire new workers, but they're anxious about next Tuesday's recall election.
Walker's visit marked the second time in the last three days that he toured a local company. He says it's telling that President Clinton was in Wisconsin this morning, to campaign for Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, but President Obama hasn't been here.
South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is campaigning on behalf of Walker this afternoon.
They'll be together at a rally, at Quad-Graphics in Sussex. |
