A head-on crash in Manitowoc County left two men dead.
The State Patrol says the driver a car crossed the centerline on Highway 57, outside of Kiel on Saturday night, killing a passenger in the car, and the driver of an oncoming SUV.
32-year-old Nicholas Pieri of Sheboygan was in the car, and 22-year-old Andrew Hoefler of Kiel was the behind the wheel of the SUV. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident happened near Little Elkhart Lake Road around 9:30 p.m.
The driver of the car, and a second passenger, suffered life-threatening injuries, and they were flown by helicopter to Theda Clark Medical Center.
The State Patrol is still investigating the accident. |
